TENDULKAR SAVES INDIA

Sachin Tendulkar 44th Test century added luster to a sad effort of India batting on the second day of the first test against Bangladesh in Chittagong.

Tendulkar unbeaten 105 from 166 deliveries helped India to reach a total of 243 prime tickets to tourists as fighting Shahadat Hossain and Shakib Al Hasan, who each took five wickets.

Zaheer Khan led India's comeback with a flurry twowicket before play was halted by bad weather in Bangladesh to 59 for three.

Danny puts 'em in a spin

England came to the U-19 World Cup quarter-final with nine wicket win in Afghanistan, in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Spinner Danny Briggs took 3-15 to help dismiss Afghanistan to 126. Chris Dent 53 shall not be sealed victory.

Dhoni looking for a white wash

India skipper Dhoni is waiting for a whitewash in the series against England. India had already bagged 4 wins, 7 ODI Series, 5 to be played in Cuttack. There will be a total change in the ODI players 5 senior players to get some rest, as they were heavily involved in cricket is played since last month. This decision will give chance to players who have not been in the field in this series.

Australia captain Ricky Ponting has been chosen as the "ESPN Cricinfo Player of the Decade for the 2000s" by a 38-strong panel of experts, including current and former players.

Ponting beat back the challenge from other major players in The Game today including senior India batsman Sachin Tendulkar, who Placed sixth in the list.

Sitting on the top of Australia to search for more than 60 points, 23 more than the Protea second place all-rounder Jacques Kallis (37), which was followed by Ponting `s compatriot Adam Gilchrist (29).
